Drawing lessons @Punkt

About the instructor:

My name is Villvin Gulbrandsrød, I am a 31 year old visual artist, and I teach private and group drawing lessons. I graduated with a BFA in Animation from Volda UC in 2022.

With teaching, my focus is on two things:

Helping you get over any nerves you may have around drawing; and giving you a solid technical foundation, so that you eventually can draw what you want from imagination.

I have been teaching private lessons for two years, and groups for 6 months. See my Superprof page for feedback.

About the lessons:

Lessons are held in a cozy environment in a creative working space at Punkt, in lower Grünerløkka / Sofienberg (Oslo): Sverdrups gate 15A.

Beginners: Mondays 17:45-18:45

Intermediates: Mondays 19:00-20:00

Classes are taught in English or Norwegian, depending on the students present.

The groups are small, 5 students max.

Both beginner and novice lessons cover: construction, perspective, heads, bodies, lighting and more. To join the novice group, it is expected that you have touched on all these areas beforehand.

Each lesson costs NOK 360 and can be paid weekly, but when signing up it is expected that you join for a semester.
